19 modulars documented over 19 nights on the FDR and rooftops of Rockefeller University. The Rockefeller University expansion required coordination of the East River tides with highway closures to lift massive modulars off a moving barge with one of the world’s biggest cranes. It was an operation of immense scale and pinpoint accuracy that was documented from fabrication in NJ to final mod setting atop the FDR at 3am, on a warm summer morning. The project is still in progress and will provide the foundation for a 2-acre expansion of research facilities and outdoor space when complete.
